The City of Mandurah have recently adopted new local government dog laws.  These include but are not limited to how many dogs you may keep, fencing, dog excrement and where you can and cannot exercise your dog.  These rules may differ to those published previously in our current MDC membership booklet.  Please see the links pages to read their document.

The oval is back in good condition.  Training held November 14 was successful - no weeds / burrs / seeds.  Dogs comfortable, we are happy!

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Training at Mandurah Dog Club has been cancelled until further notice due to the grounds being unsuitable for training.  The Committee of Management has brought this matter to the attention of the Mandurah City Council who assured us that the grounds would be ready for this Sunday (31^st October), however after checking the grounds on Friday the situation is still unresolved.  We therefore have no choice but to cancel training.

Thanks to all those who attended our recent AGM (July 15th, 2010) which was very successful.  A new committee, led by Gwen Dasborough (President) has been elected. 
We have a bare minimum of trainers to continue with obedience and socialsation (and monthly agility).  The new committee hope to increase upon that number as the year progresses.  If you are interested in assisting as a trainer please contact a committee member.  We are seeking volunteer trainers who promote positive reinforcement...
