Thanks to all those who attended our recent AGM (July 15th, 2010) which was very successful. A new committee, led by Gwen Dasborough (President) has been elected.
We have a bare minimum of trainers to continue with obedience and socialsation (and monthly agility). The new committee hope to increase upon that number as the year progresses. If you are interested in assisting as a trainer please contact a committee member. We are seeking volunteer trainers who promote positive reinforcement training methods. Formal qualifications in providing training are not essential - we aim to provide "train the trainer" during current classes with additional sessions as required.
Thanks to all outgoing committee members and trainers. I am sure the Club will continue to grow and improve under the newly elected committee.
Training activities (dog obedience and socialisation) will recommence Sunday July 25th, arrivals from 2.30pm, class starting 3pm.
Minutes of the AGM will be posted ASAP.
